This can be a successful fundraiser that you can run year after year , because they sell so well .  Your customers will keep asking you for them and you can earn money in the process.

Whatever your market, there's a cookie to match - whether it's gourmet white chocolate macadamia or the ever popular chocolate chunk recipes - the range of flavors now even includes a few high profile brand names.

Profit margins can range from 30-55% or so, depending on the quantity and the company that you choose -

Here's my own favourite cookie recipe:-

Ingredients

4 oz softened butter
4oz flour
1 oz custard powder
2oz caster sugar
2 oz chopped chocolate
a few drops of vanilla essence

• Heat oven to 190C, 375F, GM5
  
• Put all ingredients except chocolate into a bowl
  
• Mix well
  
• Add chocolate
  
• Shape teaspoonfuls into 18-20 small balls
  
• Place at least 5cm apart on a baking sheet
  
• Bake for 15-20 minutes
  

Remove on to a wire rack & leave to cool.

Ross, Space camp, Friends, story

Girl Scout cookies

Selling cookies even made it on to the hit TV show "Friends", when Ross injures a little girl and then sells cookies on her behalf to help send her to Space Camp.  As ever, Ross gets rather too competitive, but the fact that cookies are a hit with everyone is a something we can all relate to.
